Also known as the Tanimbar Corella, this is one of the smallest white cockatoo species. They have a small crest and a pale pink patch between the eyes.

Temperament & Personality

Extremely intelligent, playful, and highly inquisitive. They are known for being masters of escape and problem-solving. Can be very affectionate but also very demanding and nippy.

Vocalization & Talking Ability

Can learn to talk, but they are more known for their loud calls and ability to mimic sounds.

Dietary Needs

A high-quality pelleted diet with a variety of fresh vegetables. They are energetic and need a good diet, but watch for weight gain.

Health & Lifespan

Can live up to 40 years. Very prone to feather plucking and self-mutilation if they become bored or stressed. PBFD is also a major concern.

Housing Requirements

Not recommended for apartments. They need an exceptionally secure and durable cage with complex locks. Minimum size: 30"W x 22"D x 40"H.
