Can live for 20-30 years. Like all lories, their droppings are liquid and messy. They need constant mental stimulation to prevent boredom and related stress behaviors.
Housing Requirements
Not suitable for apartments due to their very high noise level. They need a large, active cage, minimum 36"W x 24"D x 30"H.
