Can live 15-20 years. Can be prone to fungal infections and intestinal worms, so a clean environment is vital. They are also susceptible to psittacosis.
Housing Requirements
An aviary or flight cage is ideal as they need plenty of space to fly. Not a great choice for apartment living due to their need for space. Minimum cage size: 36"L x 24"D x 24"H.
